About <Application Name> Dialog The About Dialog should be accessed from an About <Application Name> item on the Help menu. Recommended elements of the About dialog box are as follows. 1) Title bar: title in the form "About <Application Name>." Note: Application Name is the official name of the application. 2) Line 1: the official name of the application. 3) Line 2: the version number. 4) Line 3: copyright statement in the form "Copyright (c) 19xx-19xx <Corporation Name>." 5) An icon or other graphic associated with the application appears to the left of lines 1 - 3. This is typically the icon used to identify the application on the desktop, but other another icon may be used. 6) An OK button appears in the top right corner of the dialog. Optionally, the about box may include licensing information and system information separated by a horizontal black line (licensing information above the line, system information below the line).
